ABOUT THE PROGRAM
CIAC2024: Venture into Sustainability
The Asia Pacific Foundation of Canada, in collaboration with long-term ecosystem builder Anchor Asia (Anchor Taiwan), and with the support of CanWIN (the Canadian Women’s International Network), co-hosted an investor program as a complementary component of the Canada-in-Asia-Conferences 2024.
This session was by-invitation and featured a curated delegation of Asian and Canadian investors, select Canadian technology startups, relevant government officials from Canada and Asia, and accelerators/incubators in the region’s innovation ecosystem. The aim was to promote cross-border innovation, foster deeper Canada-Asia collaboration, and introduce Canadian entrepreneurs and investors to key innovation stakeholders in Asia. The agenda included an investor session – investor panel, reverse pitch, and startup pitch – on the afternoon of February 27 preceding the CIAC2024 gala reception and dinner.
This unparalleled opportunity opened a gateway to unlock the immense potential of cross-border and cross-industry collaboration and celebrated the power of capital and entrepreneurship. As we navigate the crossroads of international business, the Canada in Asia Conferences 2024 provided a unique platform for you to gain insights, forge meaningful connections, and position your investments for unprecedented success.
